A Little Credit Sunshine

Prioritizing Credit Repair

Credit repair should be prioritized. At Sky Blue we focus first on the issues that provide the biggest results. Little items like inquiries, which only have a small impact, are usually put at the bottom of the list. It is science. We want to get results for our customers, frontload the value, and get a little credit sunshine happening.

Quick Progress First

It sure is nice to get early relief and a sense of positive direction, but it is not the end of the road. The work we do in the later stages of the credit repair process is just as important, even if progress seems to slow down a bit.

Fine Tuning Counts

The first step is to get the big errors fixed. Compliance errors can be corrected, defunct collections can be removed, etc. It is a relief to be rid of the big stuff, but there is still plenty to be done.

Go the Distance

Remember that credit repair has important practical applications, like allowing you to qualify for loans, get better insurance rates, etc. As inspiring as early results may be, you still need to go the distance. When it comes to your credit scores every point counts, and the payback can be dramatic.

On Your Own

We will do the heavy lifting. We will get the errors off your credit report, tidy up, and help you start rebuilding. When we are done you will be well on your way, but there may be some distance to go. Usually it is a matter of staying the course by managing your debt properly; making your payments on time, and keeping your balances down.

Credit Repair is Easy

The credit repair process is easy, especially when you have professional help. If you are going to hire Sky Blue, it is as easy as signing up. There will be some work for you to do, and your participation is critical, but we will make sure everything that needs to happen will happen. No one slips through the cracks here.

Guys, I generally agree with the approach you outlined, but I want to mention that inquiries can be a problem for other reasons these days. My mom was turned down for a credit card just because she had too many inquiries. She asked me to look at her credit and sure enough it was perfect except for a dozen inquiries in the last six months. She has never been late on anything but she got turned down for an Amazon credit card. There may be cases where you want to “prioritize” inquires to help your customers.
    -Thanks, Tony.

Hi Tony, Good point. You are correct. Credit card lenders are very sensitive about inquiries at the moment. We always chat with our customers to explore their needs before starting our disputes. If inquiries are the issue, we will make them a priority.
